I decided to travel to the Dominicans with some girlfriends after a lot of deliberation. My split with John had left me a little low, and my plan to travel was the best thing I could have done. It was raining when we arrived and we were met with an umbrella. The hotel staff accomodated of our luggage and car parking. What added to the charm was when we walked into chocolates and champagne in our suite.

This was pampering, and it continued throughout our stay, from breakfast in our suite, where we looked out over Ben Nevis from one window, and the loch from the other. The food was to die for, and all our meals were quite superb.

You will enjoy the experience and place more if you are fond of a bit of hill walking, picture taking, just basking the scene, because there isn’t much entertainment around the region, but then we were on our honeymoon!!!

What we liked best was how we were treated by the hotel staff. They were completely respectful to our privacy.
