I never minded when girls stroked or even pulled my hair. One morning, I was dismayed to notice the first revealing signals of hair loss while brushing my teeth: hair was in the sink and the top of my head was noticeably less full than the crown and sides of my head. I would never have believed that I would sustain from hair loss: Most men in my family do not start losing hair until the age of 50. And yet, as I bent my head to look at the top of my head, I could soon see that hair loss was not just in my future but already occurring.

Once I noticed the thinning strands, I lost my self-confidence. I was very self conscious, I no longer wanted to brush my hair and wore caps as much as possible. My girlfriend and I weren’t as intimate as we were because I was anxious about her discovering the thinning patch on top of my head. I was suffering from anxiety and my performance at work declined due to the inability to focus.

Thursday nights at our house are family game nights; we play boardgames like Monopoly and Clue together. Friday nights are movie nights.

A relationship is like a bank account. For it to grow, you need to make regular deposits. But in a relationship, time is what you invest, not money. And it’s not just a matter of quantity time; it’s also a matter of quality time. Be kind. Try to do things with the people in your life that they enjoy. And don’t leave things unsaid. Life is short.

I want everyone to remember that what we’ve learned is that we can act creatively with our Divine Qualities that we’ve cultivated through our Deity Yoga Practice. And by doing that, we’re not clinging to circumstances to prove or to justify our actions. This is a very, very important shift in our manifestation. So what happens, in this instance, is that I’m driving down the road and people are driving kind of chaoticallywhich happens sometimesand I find myself saying harsh words. Now in the past, before I learned all the practices and exercises of The Everday Sanyasin and The Living Bardo, I would have been identified with the circumstances. In other words, responding to what’s going on in that moment circumstantially.

What happens in those cases is that it’s a snowball going downhill, and it just gets worse. But now I’ve learned, through these practices and techniques, first of all to realize that I don’t have control over those guys outside of me, that most of what they’re doing has very little to do with me. Instead I can actually take a deep, easy breath, I can actually expand my lungs and straighten up my posture and begin to feel more at ease in the moment. I can begin to cultivate my Deity practice and the Qualities that I really want to manifest.

Now we’re going to go deeper. So, instead of doing those thingsbecause I know that the circumstances don’t define me, and I’m not going to try to hang on to the circumstances to justify my anger; but I’m aware, within myself, of a tense sense of identity. I’m aware of that tension in my body that spoke that harsh word. I can even feel it in my body now as I think about when I have said something harsh, when I’ve gone into reactivity.

And then I very quickly say, “It’s not circumstance, so don’t try to define it in terms of circumstance.” Okay, so now what I have is this energetic in my body that’s not connected with circumstance. This is very similar to something we talked about, when we talked about free-floating anxiety.

The day I started noticing my receding hairline and bald spot growing bigger, I embarked on my hair loss treatment journey. The most obvious thing to do was to seek ways to comb my hair to cover my bald spot. I discovered myself wearing more caps on the weekends as I went out with my wife, friends or family. We exist in a world riddled with tenseness and timetables. It appears that the more we develop technology and means to evolve things more rapidly, the more panic attacks (panic-attacks-causes.com) increase. This is an enigma. Some might take for granted that advancement in technology would contribute to alleviating tension. Even so, anxiousness and depression appear worse now than they ever were in the past. Chances are that in past times, such conversation topics were avoided. For sure that is not the same today. As I have aged I have noticed that my eyes are the part of my face that are showing the signs of aging the most. When I saw those fine lines it took my breath away. Where did they come from? So, my anti-aging skin care treatment to always use is eye cream. Whatever kind that works best for you is fine but I think it is more important to use something. Not taking care of that delicate eye area will catch up with you at some point. Even if you are like me and were already showing signs, start taking care today.

It is funny but I have always used some form of moisturizer. Even when I was a teenager I used something. So as I have gotten older I have made product changes and now I am using an anti wrinkle face cream. To be honest, my skin looks pretty good but I do not know what it would look like if I had not been so diligent with moisturizers. My plan is to just keep on keeping on and use the proper age appropriate moisturizer to try and hold on to the best looking skin that I can possibly have.

Intuitive messages come in a range of ways such as hearing actual words, visualizing a clear and distinct picture, in dream format, a deep inner knowing or a quiet, subtle nudge. It’s important that you become familiar with how your inner self communicates with you and how this message will bring with it a sense of calm confidence.

Here’s some tips to help you get in touch with your own intuition.

Practice

Take a few minutes each day to experience inner silence. Calm your mind and clear your thoughts so that the information from your soul can surface.

Be Open to This Power

Get past the ego that thinks you have everything figured out and be open to new possibilities. Your true path may not be the one that you are currently working on.

Intuition is never attached to results. There’s no rush, no confusion. Just a feeling of empowerment. Your own intuition will support your personal growth and help you through lifes transitions. Begin by putting it to work in small ways and eventually your sixth sense will enhance your life like your other five senses are able to do.

Let me challenge you to put yourself out there for the next twenty-four hours and make a list of all the times you have listened to your own intuition. Some of you may find that it speaks to you many times and others not at all.

That’s ok.

Sometimes it takes time and commitment to develop this skill but I guarantee you will find a huge difference in your life once you begin trusting this wonderful power within you.
