Cable television was the best thing household could subscribe to, but that is no longer true. AT&T has been attaining millions of former cable users nationwide, because they are now offering excellent programming choices at a very practical price. Are you asking yourself whether it is about time you changed over as well? See what you get when you switch to ATT UVerse

. Your alternatives for entertainment are almost endless with so many channels to choose from. You can select a program package when you sign-up to meet exactly what you need. The family bundle includes the most popular family friendly channels at an affordable cost. If you are fond of sports you can have a sports package to be certain you have the chance to look at more of the sports you love the most. Uverse could make a movie buff drool as well with the number of movies that could be added to their regular programming package which is 30 stations dedicated to movies..

HD channels are also available with the popularity of the HD enabled/ready TV. Uverse has 100 HD channels, more than cable can provide. If you spend cash on an HDTV for you and your family, you would be better off investing the money elsewhere as cable currently offers much lesser channels in HD.

AT&T is the best option for household that love sports. If you take advantage of AT&T’s sports bundles, you will never miss games that have been blocked out in your area, nor be required to watch another game the local TV stations have selected to air in an effort to get higher ratings. AT&T Uverse covers all sports events irrespective of the number of viewers. You can look at soccer games taking place on the other side of the earth, or all pro football game played on Sundays. For people that enjoy sports, then this does not get any better than that.

It is apparent that Uverse really has a lot to offer. Their price is also similar with the offers of cable providers except that they give more value to consumers by offering a Free TV when you add additional bundle to your existing programming package. Now you decide, similar pricing with the same old or similar pricing with improved programming packages plus TV.

Dieting and weight loss is surrounded by a lot of myths. Do not avoid carbohydrates stuff like potatoes or even bread, like some people do. Carbs are great, you need them and you won’t feel hungry after eating them. This will make you more disciplined in reducing your over all food intake..You can eat it, but don’t eat too much of it. Avoid butter, because it is fat!. Naturally, you also have to pay attention to how these foods are prepared. French fries are not a low-fat food. In addition: We recommend you to read this Proactol review to find the best one.

Drinking a certain quantity of water every day is a good idea because it keeps the body hydrated and fills the stomach. Drinking water is helping by facilitating the movements of undigested food, making it easier to get rid of it. But, only drinking water will not make you lose those unwanted extra pounds. There is only one way to lose weight and that is to burn up the existing fat and water cannot do that. Do not rate the effectiveness of a diet on how much is lost during a single week, it is more complex than that.

Is fat harmful? Many people do believe in this old bad myth. IFat is of course not harmful, we really need it to keep going. The body needs fat in order to get some vitamins into the system. Also, fat brings us essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6. Fat should however not be over consumed!

My wife and I have been trying Uverse for roughly 2 months. Whilst ATT brags about the number of high def channels it offers, I am like the greater number of television watchers who not only do not have a hd capable tv, but also still use old school analog formats. We only hooked up U-verse to the set in our living room. But the companies bundles will let you hook up to 3 and more if you are prepared to pay more. The TIVO-like device hooks up to one TV, and the others can pull recorded shows off it. I ordered the U400 packaged option, which comes with about 270 non-HD channels and begins at $97 a month. ATT has bundled deals that mix U-verse and Net access, but do not start getting excited at the idea of 100-Mbps Web surfing. The internet access bundled with Uverse is pretty much the same as ATT’s base package, though uploads are improved.

ATT installations take a number of hours, depending on if your house should be changed to accommodate U-verse. In our case, technicians had to modify the wiring in the back of some of the telephone jacks. Because I have been using regular wiring, I’d not yet attempted a Video on Demand service, which U-verse includes. This allows you to select from both films and shows from a variety of your stations, including Starz, and play them on your Television like a DVD player.

There’s a lot of blogs out there on the Web, most of which don’t entice one to go back regularly to read updates. What is missing from these on-line journals that would essentially make them ‘good’ blogs? Well, the answers in life usually come down to simplicities. So let’s look at the problem like we were children. Children don’t complicate life with miscellaneous information, and when they speak they tell you straight to the point exactly how they feel and think about a subject.

First of all, we should ask the questions,” Why do blogs exist? And what are they here for?” Well, in an ideal world ‘good’ blogs would help people connect, sharing knowledge and feelings about issues in life. As they are journals written by individuals we would hope that they’d be readable and open to comment by all other people, not just a select group of friends. The key is speaking in a way that is understandable by the masses, get rid of acronyms and local slang that only few will comprehend. Keep the sentences grammatically simple and generally short and concise.

Try to write in your blog as often as possible because if people enjoy reading your thoughts and ideas they’ll want to communicate or at least be filled in regularly on ‘your world’. Ask questions, comment on other blogs of similar content, start communities with others you’ve never met, based on your interests. Keep focused; if your blog is about thoughts on war and peace, keep your thoughts on the latest movie and how hungry you are for somewhere else. The idea is to incite intelligent communication so that in time our collective stockpile of knowledge and wisdom will gradually grow like a tree in fertile soil.

I think of most importance is the fact that you want this journal to be ‘good’ reading. Of course we all have ideas about what genres and styles we like, but writing from your heart and soul is imperative for the connection with others that you’re looking for. Share yourself; don’t hide behind walls of fear of ridicule and judgment. In real life relationships trust, respect, intimacy, and unity are all necessary for a bond to form. It’s the same in the ‘virtual’ world; people want to hear from real people-not just one-sided, highly opinionated arguments from egos that don’t want to hear the ‘other side of the coin’.

Now, in my last article I really tore apart most writers out there, and here I’m giving some pretty complex ideas on how to fix the problem of ‘bad’ writing. In my next article I’ll attempt to go back to the simple basics of how to write for beginners. I hope I haven’t come across as too judgmental, I just truly believe the ‘blog world’ could become a real asset to humanity, and at the moment it’s missing the mark.

Ideas about sentence structure, grammar, paragraphing, using a thesaurus (varying terms used so as not to sound repetitive), whether or not your blog is suitable for a personal or professional approach, are all important to creating a simple and enjoyable read for the blogging visitor. If you are a beginner, please check out my next article on the basics.

As you’ve probably been reading, there are basically three problems many webmasters have with web feeds (that is, among those who are already familiar with them on a basic level).

The three concerns I hear the most are:

“How do I deal with the bandwidth hit?”

“Is there a way to include information that isn’t in the automated resource I use to populate my feed without touching any code?”

and

“Where can I find a cost-effective, simple way to display feeds on my site?”

Say Goodbye to Bandwidth Overages with FeedBurner

http://feedburner.com

If you’re a publisher, chances are, you’re familiar with the bandwidth increase that occurs every time your audience reads the latest update to your feed that for some webmasters lead to the possibility of exceeding monthly bandwidth limitations. There’s an easy solution.

Burn your feed with FeedBurner. They’re happy to take the burden off your server. (And yes, they say, FeedBurner is one word.)

Whether you’ve just created your news feed or you have been RSS-ing for years, you can create a free account at their site. Their service will also:

  • translate your feed from Atom to RSS or vice versa,

  • make a browser-friendly page that explains what web feeds are to the new user,

  • allow you to splice any link into your feed using some of the more popular social bookmarking services.

FeedBurner also allows you to study your demographic by giving you statistics on how many request have been made for your feed contents, down to the item if you like.

Though I offer both the burned version of my feed and the original to my audience, they love the extra information my FeedBurned link provides them.

Social Bookmarking -Share More Info with Less Hassle

http://furl.net

http://bloglines.com

http://del.icio.us

Social bookmarking allows you to create a bookmark online, and share those bookmarks via RSS.

Some services even allow you to share your collection of links, as you can do with the service from del.icio.us . Furl.net, newly acquired by LookSmart, also adds the capability of saving an old version of a page you have visited with the bookmark feature. And at Bloglines, you can get ezine subscriptions via feed by subscribing through a special address they give you.

All three of these services can be coupled with FeedBurner to splice external links - or other internal links from your own site - into the “burned” version of your feed.

Display links on your site for free with RSS Digest

http://www.bigbold.com/rssdigest/

You’ve heard about the value of displaying feeds from other sites (with permission of the publisher, of course) on your site. The theory is that the frequently updated headlines add freshness to your site, which results in more frequent visits from search engine spiders. This can lead to better rankings for the site carrying the headlines, and more backlinks for the feed publisher. Everybody wins.

For the most part, I’ve found this to be true, with a feed that frequently updates, at sites that have suitable content for both the visitor and the spiders to enjoy.

The trouble for many smaller web property owners is finding a cost-effective manner in which to employ this technique. Most free tools that do this with javascript are fine for site publishers who are using the headlines for content, but if you also want the search engine benefits, it doesn’t help as many spiders don’t register content that appears in this format.

RSS Digest will do this for you in HTML, as recently reported in Search Engine Journal.

It’s not as sophisticated a tool as CARP or RSS Equalizer, but if you want to offer your feed to an audience and they don’t mind using an IFRAME or pasting PHP code into their pages, this will do the job just fine.

If you’re good at supplying tips, finding resources, or locating fresh information, after viewing some news feeds for yourself, you might find that you’re ready to take the next step and publish one. If you’re already a publisher, utilizing some of these free tools may help you build a better feed.

Either way, good luck!
